Ryan Stratton is a composer, writer and director based in Metro Detroit, MI.
He studied Screenwriting and Film Music at Chapman University, and has worked with Paul Haslinger on multiple projects, including FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, THE WISDOM OF THE CROWD, and RIDE. Ryan’s work on his own short film INFINITE was nominated for Visionfest New York’s Platinum Reel and Best Original Score Awards, and his music for short film ICARUS was nominated for a College Television Award (Student Emmy).
Other notable composing credits include BEYOND THE EDGE, a science fiction feature film starring Casper Van Dien and Sean Maher, and a faith based romantic comedy called FAITH HOPE & LOVE, currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
Ryan is a precise, character driven filmmaker with a penchant for naturalistic dialogue and succinct, specific storytelling. He has often described his mindset as “one half firmly entrenched in the world of classical tradition, and the other on the bleeding edge of modern tech and art.” Ryan specializes in bespoke musical services and high-end commercial/film production.
